The Perfectum Collection of European countries was formed during the last four decades with aim to procure the best possible condition of 20th century issues in perfectly centered mint never hinged quality. No expense was spared to achieve this objective. The collection will be offered in five sales between November 2017 and February 2018 as advertised in The American Philatelist and The American Stamp Dealer & Collector.

The Perfectum Collection of European Countries first sale to include Austria and pre-war Germany including Offices and Colonies November 10, 2017.
We are pleased to offer the Austria and Germany highlights from this outstanding quality collection in a live sale on Stamp Auction Network on November 10, 2017. These selected lots represent the very best from the collection from the areas above found in this collection.
The collection includes numerous condition rarities; the 1905 $1½ KIAUCHAU and the 1914 Samoa 5 Shillings on 5-mark GRI surcharge, are just a couple that comes to mind. A large number of stamps have appropriate German certificates attesting to their authenticity and condition.
The Perfectum Collection was formed to be as complete as possible. A number of high quality singles and sets from the Austria and Germany collection are included in our November 10, 2017 Box & Country Lot Auction ending just before the live auction. Each lot from these collections will have “ex Perfectum” at the end of the description. The more modern areas, all presented in beautiful Lighthouse hingeless albums, will be offered intact for outright sale on our website.

Italy and area are notorious for gum problems such as wrinkles and toning. These issues are remarkably absent in the Perfectum collection. We do not apologize for the overuse of "pristine" and "Post Office fresh" in our descriptions. It may be repetitive throughout, but each time it is accurately describing the lot in question. Enjoy this sale! It is highly unusual to find an assembly of this high quality offered in one sale.
